James Lukas is the founding principal of Bennett Chambers, with over two decades of advocacy experience across commercial, civil, and criminal law. Known for a meticulous, client-first approach, James has been recognised in Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 for his work in complex litigation.
Before establishing Bennett Chambers in 2005, James practised at leading sets in Lincoln's Inn and the Temple. He holds a First-Class degree from the University of Bristol and a postgraduate diploma in European Union Law from the University of Cambridge.
James is a bencher of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple and sits on the Bar Council's International Committee.
